KRA RECORDS 11.1% GROWTH IN REVENUE COLLECTION.

 Despite a challenging economic environment,where the  year faced economic shocks like shilling depreciation, rising bank lending rates, and international conflicts disrupting supply chains, impacting revenue mobilization efforts, KRA  has recorded Kshs. 240 Billion Growth in Revenue Collection. KRA collected Kshs. 2.407 Trillion for the Financial Year 2023/2024, compared to Kshs. 2.166 Trillion that was collected last year. This represents a growth of 11.1% and a performance rate of 95.5%; 1.Domestic Taxes registered a 14.4% revenue growth, collecting Kshs. 1.611 Trillion against a target of Kshs. 1.677 Trillion, a performance rate of 96.1%. 2. Customs collected Kshs. 791.368 Billion, a 4.9% growth. With High quality street lights that provide good lightning, every resident, pedestrian, roadside seller and grocery owner feels safe. Unfortunately that is not the case for those residing along the Ziwa drive lane, in kihoto,Naivasha, for it has been three days now since the street lights  stopped working.  One grocery owner ,Serah,said that it has been very dark and difficult three evenings for she has to close the store as early as 7:30pm and this has resulted to low sells . Her predicament were seconded by a mama mboga who said that their customers even end up picking what they haven’t paid for because they are confident enough that they can’t be seen in the dark. A resident, Joel Njugu,  said that there has been  increase in insecurity ,that he was attacked at 8pm and his phone was snatched. It is always joy and laughter when one finally get to set their feet in the University  premises. Innocent and focused ready to pursue their courses and later conquer the world.  To me it wasn't the same,not that I wasn't happy to have finally got to be admitted to the University, I was very happy but I never thought that I'd make it through to the end. I felt like I didn't fit in the school for I was expectant, three months were up already and the month of September was the start of the fourth month. I hadn't not told my mum,but she knew for she is a mother. That didn't stop her and for she never call it off for my education I decided that I'd study whether pregnant or not.  School, friends and making sure that I was in good health for my unborn child wasn't an easy one. The youth are an economic force that can create demand for goods and services especially due to the growing digital economy in Kenya.According to article 260 of the constitution of Kenya,a youth is anyone aged between 18 and 34 years old. Kenya has a relatively youthful population, and with this Kenya can do really well in the economic take-off if they find the correct formula to put to action the energy, creativity and entrepreneurship ideas that the young and energetic generation can offer.                KEEP THE 'BLANKET 'INTACT. I know not once or twice in your life time have you heard or come across the word Ozone layer. If you are always as curious as i am,I'm sure you took a step to try and learn more about it. The Ozone is created when the sun's rays split oxygen molecules into single atoms;these single atoms then combine with nearby oxygen molecules to form three oxygen molecules . The ozone layer is a region of the Earth's stratosphere that absorbs most of the sun's ultraviolet radiation. It is mainly found in the lower portion of the stratosphere from approximately 15 to 35 kilometres above the Earth although it's thickness varies seasonally and geographically. It's main work is to absorb the harmful ultraviolet rays emitted by the sun. Having joined the University, Joanne's biggest dream was to work hard and smart to achieve her school set goals by pursuing a bachelors degree in Business management. Innocent, ready to conquer the world and go back home change her parents life was all she dreamed. Her head was forever buried in her books .
