With High quality street lights that provide good lightning, every resident, pedestrian, roadside seller and grocery owner feels safe. Unfortunately that is not the case for those residing along the Ziwa drive lane, in kihoto,Naivasha, for it has been three days now since the street lights  stopped working.  One grocery owner ,Serah,said that it has been very dark and difficult three evenings for she has to close the store as early as 7:30pm and this has resulted to low sells . Her predicament were seconded by a mama mboga who said that their customers even end up picking what they haven’t paid for because they are confident enough that they can’t be seen in the dark. A resident, Joel Njugu,  said that there has been  increase in insecurity ,that he was attacked at 8pm and his phone was snatched. It is always joy and laughter when one finally get to set their feet in the University  premises.
